Jenni Furtado will be a voice for East Providence and Pawtucket at the State House just like she has been for our schools.

As Chair of the East Providence School Committee, Jenni has always put residents first.

When first elected, she helped guide our schools through the COVID-19 Pandemic, making sure children, parents, and teachers had all the tools and support they needed to get through the crisis. Jenni also oversaw the completion of the new East Providence High School, and made sure construction finished on-time and under budget. And Jenni stood up for East Providence teachers as they fought for a fair contract.

As State Representative for District 64, Jenni will prioritize three things:

  1. Education- Investing more in East Providence and Pawtucket schools so every child, parent, and teacher has the tools they need to help as today’s kids become tomorrow’s leaders.

  2. Housing- Working with federal, state, and local leaders to advocate for sustainable communities for all residents of East Providence and Pawtucket.

  3. Economic Development- Promoting small businesses and attracting new ones while fostering a live, work, play environment.
